Scapegoat Tattoo is located at 1233 SE Stark Street in the beautiful Buckman neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. We are nestled in with the fine folks of Ice Queen PDX, Herbivore, and Sweetpea Baking Co. in Portland’s first and only vegan strip mall. All of our products are vegan, and we do our best to shop ethically and support local business.
We are open seven days a week from 11am-6pm. We have 7 artists that are well-versed and seasoned in the many fine styles of tattooing. We are dedicated to the art and craft of tattooing, and strive to provide you with quality work that will last a lifetime.
If you have any inquiries, please call or e-mail us with all the pertinent details of your project. We do not book tattoo appointments over the phone. We have a $100 minimum for tattoos, and $180 hourly rate. Rates may vary depending on your project and artist. Anything under two hours is subject to a price quote from your artist. We do not offer quotes over the phone or e-mail.
All appointments must be made by emailing the artist directly or in person. We require 48 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling, otherwise your forfeit your deposit. We retain a a minimum $100 non-refundable deposit to hold a tattoo appointment, which is deducted from the cost of your tattoo once it is completed, ie: your last session. Deposits for larger, multi-session tattoos can vary between artists.
New COVID-19 Protocols:
Due to new COVID-19 protocols we are currently not accepting walk-in appointments at this time, and clients must complete our Online Client Release Form 24 hours before your appointment. All clients must wear a clean, well-fitted mask before entering. Please call when you arrive and wait outside or in your car, maintaining six feet of social distancing from other clients. We are also asking that at this time you come to the shop by yourself. We have a strict maximum occupancy that we must maintain at all times, and we cannot permit your friends/family/children/guests to enter. If you have a special circumstance that requires you to bring accompaniment, please call the shop more than 24 hours prior to your appointment to discuss an alternative scheduling arrangement.
Your deposit is good for as long as it takes to complete your tattoo, however, your deposit is forfeit in the event of:
-more than 6 months pass without an appointment or communication.
-rescheduling an appointment more than twice.
-failure to appear for a scheduled appointment without at least 48 hours notice.
This policy is meant to ensure that you are committed to the agreed upon project, and that you maintain a line of communication with your artist, even as schedules and finances dictate availability. With this in mind, please be sure to notify us if your phone number or e-mail address changes, as these are often the only methods of communication we have.
All artwork will be available at the time of your appointment. Due to the amount of drawing each artist has to do, we can not make and edit multiple drafts for each design. Your consultation is meant to ensure that you and your artist are on the same page in regards to your project and all that it entails. We strive to make the best tattoo for each client, and we are happy to make any necessary changes and further explain the design choices made for your tattoo.
